The Tourism Paradox
Anti-tourism sentiment is on the rise, and it doesn't appear to be slowing down. From excessive crowds to strains on local resources, over-tourism is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. A simple solution would be to tell tourists to just stay home. But it is often the case that those places that are being burdened with too many visitors are the same places that are so dependent on them economically.
